The ROVTools RTK-01 is a versatile toolkit that allows ROV operators to easily equip their vehicles with a range of reliable hardware for undertaking common underwater tasks. Manufactured from 316 stainless steel and other tough corrosion-resistant materials, the tools are connected to the ROV via a quick-fit modular system consisting of a clamp assembly and tool pole, secured via heavy-duty bolts and locking nuts. The entire kit is stored in a convenient rugged Pelicase with custom cutouts.
The kit includes:
Cutter: able to cut through rope up to 25mm thick, with spring-loaded retractable safety guards to ensure that the removable blades remain covered until required
CP Probe Mount: designed for the Buckleys industry-standard cathode protection probe
Marine Growth Gauge: provides easy three-axis measurement of marine growth up to 300mm deep
Brush: consists of six industry-standard replaceable wire brushes on a bracket that allows five different mounting orientations
Crook: versatile lifting and positioning tool with 75mm opening and a ramped barb that can easily capture and retain ropes and cables
Hook: forward-facing barbed hook design for catching pushing or pulling objects such as netting or ropes
Marine Growth Remover: holding an 880mm braided stainless steel or nylon cable between two rods, this tool is designed to clean up to 26 inch diameter pipe work
Brackets: 90° and 45° brackets that increase the mounting orientation options on the kit’s tool pole
24VDC Electromagnets: featuring a 50kg pull and designed to fit the kit’s multi-tool adapter, but can also be used independently
