Water Immersion Detection

eSonar's Seacap non-contact water immersion detectors allow subsea sensors to be automatically activated as needed when immersed in seawater, providing enhanced convenience for operators and ensuring battery power is not wasted. The system is made up of three PCBs - a high side switch board, a power supply board, and a sensing board - all of which can fit comfortably in a 9/16" (14.3mm) outer diameter recess, and can be mounted inside a sealed housing endcap.

Seacap is available as a demo kit that can be used to investigate the functionality of the system. The kit can also be provided in an external mount version that is ideal for retrofitting external equipment. eSonar can also provide custom integration into your sensor designs, with full support from the in-house expert engineering team.
