The ISA500 range of advanced altimeters for ROVs and AUVs utilizes cutting-edge acoustics to provide long-range measurement capabilities at distances of over 120 meters, with an accuracy of 1 mm. The sensors can also be optionally upgraded with Impact Subsea's Echogram technology, adding full backscatter visualization for single-beam echosounder capabilities with up to 2000 samples per ping. In addition, an integrated MEMS-based AHRS (Attitude & Heading Reference System) can be added for heading, pitch and roll measurement.
The ISA500 is available in either forward-looking or right-angled configurations, ensuring easy integration into a wide variety of underwater vehicles or towed platforms. It can be provided with acetal or rugged titanium housings, with depth options of 1000, 6000 and 11,000 meters, and an unhoused OEM variant is also available.
