X-CAT ARGOS Transmitter
The X-CAT is an ultra-miniature ARGOS transmitter designed to allow biologists, oceanographers and other marine professionals to track and monitor very small assets. With advanced power amplifier design, the unit provides enhanced efficiency and ability to work with non-ideal antennas.
The X-CAT can emulate previous “RF board only” ARGOS radios from Seimac, allowing users to add their own data acquisition controllers, and can also be programmed to act as a simple position-only PTT without the need to add a separate controller.
All core functions, including ARGOS ID, transmit repetition rate, output power and output frequency channel, can be easily configured via an intuitive graphical user interface that runs on any Windows-based PC.
