SubCtech's family of PowerCharger solutions provide safe and rapid charging capabilities for AUV, ROV and subsea batteries, featuring integrated battery management systems and simple one-button charging and discharging. The systems can charge one battery, multiple battery channels or multiple battery modules, and makes use of advanced smart balancing algorithms. An optional power supply is available that can operate the vehicles and equipment independently while the battery is charging.
The chargers have been constructed with a rugged waterproof design that makes them highly suitable for operation on board vessels and offshore platforms. A 7″ color touchscreen provides a summarized overview of system information and also allows users to view all parameters in real time down to individual cell level, including temperatures, voltages, and currents. Data can be logged to SD cards up to 32 GB in size.
