Ares Chlorophyll-a Sensor
The Ares Chlorophyll-A Sensor uses optical measurement via ultra-bright energy-efficient blue LEDs to provide indications of water quality via chlorophyll concentrations, and is ideal for environmental monitoring, oceanographic research, marine operations, and aquaculture. It offers both digital and analog outputs.
Each compact and low-power sensor is individually calibrated to laboratory standards, and is programmed with a response to red light produced via fluorescence by chlorophyll-a contained in algal cells.
