Sharrow Marine, a provider of marine propulsion technology, has revealed that its advanced Sharrow Propeller is now available as an approved supplier option through ADS, Inc., a prominent distributor for defense contracting.

The relationship with ADS is set to streamline the availability of Sharrow’s innovative propellers to various defense branches, including the U.S. Navy, Coast Guard, and other government agencies.

The Sharrow Propeller provides significant advantages over conventional propellers, offering greater fuel efficiency, lower vibration, reduced noise, and exceptional handling. These qualities are particularly beneficial for defense applications, where efficiency, stealth, and resilience are paramount.

ADS’s robust network within the Department of Defense (DoD), and relationships across military departments, make this development a substantial opportunity for Sharrow Marine.

As part of this new alignment, Sharrow Marine will join upcoming ADS-sponsored trade shows, allowing industry stakeholders and military representatives to explore the propeller’s capabilities in person.

By featuring Sharrow’s technology within their portfolio, ADS has affirmed its commitment to offering its clients solutions to enhance operational performance, reduce acoustic signature, and improve fuel efficiency.

Greg Sharrow, CEO and Founder of Sharrow Marine, commented, “We’re thrilled to have the Sharrow Propeller accessible through ADS’s extensive channels. This support from ADS, an organization trusted by the Department of Defense, Federal Agencies and First Responders, is a testament to our propeller’s transformative impact. We are excited to see how this exposure will drive adoption within the defense sector and beyond.”

ADS representatives recently experienced the Sharrow Propeller in action, witnessing its capabilities and potential revolutionary impact on military fleets. ADS maritime subject matter expert Jim Brooks stated, “Our trial of the Sharrow Propeller revealed its game-changing qualities in terms of performance and reduced noise—key factors for the DoD. We’re pleased to offer Sharrow as a supplier option, providing our customers with state-of-the-art technology that aligns with our commitment to excellence in defense.”
