AIRMAR Technology‘s DST810 Smart™ Multisensor is enhanced with the Gen2 paddlewheel and wireless connectivity via the company’s CAST™ mobile app.
This combination brings impressive levels of accuracy and ease-of-use to watercraft depth, speed, temperature, and attitude measurements — delivering data critical to navigation, performance optimization, and safety in marine environments.
At the heart of the DST810 is AIRMAR’s redesigned Gen2 paddlewheel. Capable of detecting speeds as low as 0.3 knots and maintaining accuracy up to 45 knots, this design improves both start-up sensitivity and linearity — delivering reliable speed-through-water data at every stage of a vessel’s operation.
The 5.7 Hz data output (five updates per second) provides smoother and faster reporting, essential for high-performance marine applications where real-time decision-making is key.
A key upgrade in the DST810 is the addition of an internal attitude sensor, which captures heel and trim data. When used in conjunction with the free AIRMAR CAST™ app, this feature enables advanced, heel-compensated speed calibrations across varying conditions.

CAST brings functionality once reserved for expensive PC-based software directly to mobile devices — allowing users to perform custom calibrations with up to ten speed points and multiple heel angles.
CAST’s intuitive interface makes it easy to configure the DST810 wirelessly. Basic and advanced calibration routines are streamlined, allowing boat operators to fine-tune speed measurements quickly and independently of onboard navigation instruments.
By uniting precise data collection with smart calibration tools, AIRMAR’s DST810 and Gen2 paddlewheel deliver a complete sensing solution tailored to both sailing and powered vessels — designed to improve situational awareness, vessel control, and hydrodynamic insight in real time.
